The tortoise-shell she cat crouched on a low sitting rock, her jaws parted, drinking in the air for traces of prey to bring back to camp. Stale, all stale. What in StarClan... 'Where are all the rabbits?!' She thought furiously. She was frustrated easily.

She sighed and stood up, the wind rippling her sleek pelt and making her long tail wave around behind her. Her green eyes gazed around the territory. Springpelt left camp today to find some prey and thats what she was going to do! She padded lightly off the rock and moved slowly over the moorlands, keeping her mouth open as to easily find her prey.

There! She saw the creature was hopping along downwind from Springpelt, it had no idea she was there. She crouched low, her pelt blending well. She snuck closer, her eyes wide open and her tail sticking out straight, the tip twitching a little. She unsheathed her claws, she was within pouncing distance. Yes. She lept from the ground, the rabbit fled. And she gave chase.

It was quick. She could handle the sharp turns easily, her small body and long tail, the classic WindClan cat. She brought the animal down with an outstretched paw. She beared down onto it and killed it with a quick bite to the neck. She stood, her whiskers, covered in her kills blood, twitched with satisfaction.
