Situated on the edge of a pond, the abandoned fox cave has many advantages to its location. Unlike the rest of WindClan territory, the place is actually well covered; thorns, brush, and shrubbery act as a large wall and guard the cave from most predators looking for shelter. The stench of fox from decades ago has faded, but it has been replaced by the strong scent of cats. A few stalagmites are found here, and it has a strip of land just outside, providing an exceptional training area. The pond also acts as an excellent hunting spot; minnows can be found in its depths, and many rodents come here to drink. A few lilypads and cattails surround the pond, and at certain times of the year, even frogs can be seen. A kit could easily fall into the waters, but even in the spring rains, it never reaches more than a few feet deep. The bottom is covered with pebbles rather than mud, so the water, for the most part, is quite clean, and an underground stream keeps the current running and the water fresh. Around the fox cave, squirrels and maybe even magpies can be caught, though only few trees dwell within the area.

A vast part of WindClan territory is moorland, which stretches from border to border. Grass, brush, and a few boulders make up these plains, and the lack of shelter is the main reason WindClan cats can run so well. Prey can be found hidden in the scrubby grasses or even under boulders, though most reside in underground burrows that require patience and skill to hunt from. Dried up puddles, now merely deceptively cracked earth, are also found here, but you never know how soft the ground still is - so caution is necessary when approaching them. The moorland terrain is used mainly for patrolling and hunting, but once you reach the highlands, the wind picks up to where it might be harder to catch such easy prey. However, rabbits and crows like to find food here, and the latter is the primary source of food for WindClan cats. The territory has totally healed after the 2013 fire, though some boulders are still stained black with smoke, and if you dig into the ground, it is easy to find a layer of ash.

An old, rickety shed lies on the southwestern border of WindClan, but when brush fire ripped through the moor it fell into charred and crumbling pieces. After the 2013 fire, the shed was destroyed completely, only piles of warped roof tin and bricks remaining. Since then, however, the grass has regrown, rodent wildlife has returned, and herbs such as tansy, yarrow, and maybe even juniper berries can be found in the area. Though it can be a dangerous place for new apprentices and kits - the tin roofing can slice unwary paws, and more than a few cats have tripped over overgrown piles of brick - the destroyed shed is rapidly becoming an important resource for prey and herbs in WindClan territory.

A partially dead and long since abandoned orchard sits at the highest point in WindClan land, clustered around the top of a hill and affording an absolutely spectacular view over all four of the territories. Abandoned in part because of the lack of shelter from the weather, the orchard was nevertheless once a paradise, tended with obvious care and love. Primarily consisting of apple trees, time has aged the wood, but some fruit is still produced - though left well alone by the Clan except for, perhaps, curious apprentices who taste the windfall. The trees can be easily climbed and are very sturdy, and lots of prey lurk in the grass of the orchard. In the middle of the orchard, a small, man-made pond continues to filter water, fed in part by both a gentle brook and a machine inside the ancient shed a short ways away, made of now broken and gritty glass and still housing tools, equipment, garden tables, and various mementos. As the only place left entirely untouched by the 2013 fire, the orchard remains exactly as it was. A beautiful and serene place, many cats come here to relax.

The WindClan tunnels are one of the worst kept secrets of the Clan, although the entire reach of the underground network is only known by a select few. The official entrance to the tunnels is near the back of the territory, beyond the orchard and near the abandoned fox den, but burrows and holes are scattered all around the WindClan territory. The tunnels used to be highly maintained, but fell into disuse ten years ago, with only select parts ever traveled. This has changed since the 2013 fire, with the Clan adding in an extra patrol every so often in charge of excavating and reinforcing what parts of the network they can preserve. Even after moving out in 2017, WindClan patrols keep up a weekly maintenance of the tunnels. When the WindClan tunnels are fully operational, rumors have it they extend as far as the ThunderClan camp, though the tunnels themselves always have a high risk of danger associated with them due to cave-ins and navigational mistakes. Prey can be found in the tunnels, along with mushrooms and various other fungi and roots that medicine cats occasionally resource.
