RIVERCLAN CAMP

This is where the medicine cat of RiverClan sleeps and houses injured cats. There is plenty of room to fit patients, and it is rare that it's filled to its full capacity. The den is located on the other side of the warrior's den, or basically across the center of camp. The medicine cat makes small caves in the earth to store herbs so rambunctious kits don't scatter them when they come through here, but has to be careful so that mud and muck don't taint them when the river rises.

The warrior's den is situated near the entrance to the camp and is in a tangle of reeds. For the safety of the RiverClan kits, it resides beside the nursery. The roof is made by feathers woven into strong, sturdy branches. Along the edges of the den are sparkling rocks and shells collected from the river, throwing glimmers of light onto the roof and ground around the area.

This is the den where the apprentices eat, sleep and mingle. Most of the apprentices are energetic and restless even at night, and as a result, the moss is scattered everywhere, making an extremely messy den. Just like all the other dens, the apprentice's den is in a tangle of reeds and ferns with a strong roof made from branches and feathers. The den is beside the medicine cat's den, and is therefore across from the warrior's den and the nursery. It's not very close to the river.

This is where the queens and kits sleep, rest, play and chat. The den itself is beside the warrior's den for most protection. It is located very close to an extremely shallow part of the river, so as to give the kits a chance to get familiar with the water and learn the basics of swimming. In fact, it could be said the area makes a little 'lagoon,' safe from prying eyes and easily monitored. Like the other dens, it is also in a tangle of reeds, though there are a great deal more feathers floating around in this den than anywhere else.
