[attr="class","twfptcontent"] [attr="class","twfpth1"]CONCEPT The Warriors Forest (TWF) is a non-commercial play-by-post role-play forum based off of the Warrior Cats series written by Erin Hunter and published by Harper Collins. TWF follows the basic structures and concepts described in the Warrior Cats series, but diverges significantly and/or completely from the official series in terms of plot, characters, and world-building. As such, all original, member-created content on The Warriors Forest forum and The Warriors Forest Companion is protected under U.S. Fair Use and Copyright law. TWF was first created in 2004 by Amber and has been under the administration and ownership of DELAWARE since 2009. [attr="class","twfpth1"]ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Every source in this post deserves recognition and thanks, but it would not be complete without the most important acknowledgement of all: our community. To all the members and staff, past and present, thank you so much for all the love, time, and energy you have poured into our site. The Warriors Forest exists, and continues to exist, because of you. [attr="class","twfpth1"]HOSTS AND SERVICES The Warriors Forest forum has always been hosted by ProBoards, and we give our unending thanks to the PB team for their continued support and dedication to the platform. We couldn't imagine moving anywhere else! The Warriors Forest Companion site is hosted by Weebly. We use chat services provided by Cbox and Discord, and our word counter was provided by JavaScript Kit. [attr="class","twfpth1"]THEME The theme you are currently viewing, On the Nature of Daylight, was designed and created in its entirety by DELAWARE for The Warriors Forest only. She used textures from MediaMilitia, LilithDemoness, galaxiesanddust and mercurycode on DeviantArt. Photographs were sourced from Christoph Köpfer and Seiji Mamiya on 500px. The background pattern was provided by subtlepatterns. The theme was inspired by On the Nature of Daylight by Max Richter and, more specifically, its usage in The Last of Us season 1, episode 3 Long, Long Time and the film Arrival. It might be overused, but damn, this song hits hard every time! [attr="class","twfpth1"]CODES, LAYOUT, AND DESIGN All codes found on TWF, including posting templates, were created by DELAWARE for TWF only unless otherwise stated or directly credited. Plug-ins used on the site were found in the ProBoards Plugin Library; thank you to all the incredible plug-in creators, for without whom this site would never get off the ground. Additional codes were provided by Malihu and W3Schools. The current site layout was remodeled in its entirety by DELAWARE from the default ProBoards forum layout. Specific remodels by DELAWARE include, but are not limited to, the high rank side-tables, the main forum table, the information center, the mini-profile, the user profile and the boards. [attr="class","twfpth1"]ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND IMAGES Additional images used on the forum are credited directly in the applicable template or on the appropriate page, with a link directly to the primary account or website of the creator. If you have the time, please take a moment to go check out the portfolios, blogs and websites of these amazing artists and photographers! [attr="class","twfpth1"]REPORTING MISUSE / MISSING A CREDIT? We do not use any AI-generated art on any part of TWF. If we have unknowingly used AI art, please let us know immediately so we can remove it. Otherwise, if you are the original creator of any photograph, artwork, code, or other element used on TWF, and you do not see a credit or believe we have misused your original content, please e-mail the staff. We are happy to discuss any specific issues with you directly. [attr="class","twfpth1"]THANK YOU! |
