WINDCLAN TUNNELS

The temporary WindClan camp, used after the 2013 fire and kept maintained for any future emergencies, is the first major group of dens upon entering the official entrance of the tunnels. After a short walk, the tunnel opens up to a large main space, with roots, gorse, stones, and branches used to support and reinforce the walls. This main space leads off into other short tunnels that end in smaller areas used as dens, which have been similarly reinforced and house around seven grown cats apiece. Out of the entire tunnel network, these dens remain consistently maintained in the event of an emergency. There is no natural light in the new camp except for what trickles through the main entrance. Water is provided by the pool in the abandoned fox den or in the orchard. It is quite warm and humid in these dens, and weaker or ill WindClan cats often relocate to these dens during storms or bad weather.
