Your girl finally out here getting up her plots! And some notes for characters I'm not bringing back right away / at all, for those of you who were involved with them. At the moment I'm not looking to commit to a huge number of threads - trying to keep it manageable for myself - but there are few from the pre-relaunch that I'd love to finish, and I'm interested in forming new plots/relationships for all my active chars. I'm thinking we just talk it out here and then post a summary for the thread/their relationship, rather than RPing. But any way is fine for me - since Axel is dead it's really your call since it'll relate to your chars development. Like, we're talking April 2022, one of the first WCers to be caught (maybe THE first), etc. Because of this, he was luckily re-located fairly locally - he's actually ended up in a condo in the inner city. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to escape the apartment, since it's some 15 stories up, and except for forays onto the small balcony, he can't even go outside. He's not miserable (he's living with a nice mid-thirties lesbian couple) and has adapted well to housecat life, but he dreams of returning to WC everyday. He'll eventually escape sometime in 2024 (aka when I rewrite his bio lol) and make his eventual way back to the Clan, though probably with a stint as a city cat for a while.TROUTPAWwindclan • apprentice • 20 • captured, return unknownTroutpaw couldn't run fast enough to elude a particularly nimble volunteer, who managed to box him up against the gorge and trap him around mid-November 2022. Unfortunately, he's had the opposite experience of Bellpepper; after the traumatic capture, he was kept in the Stray Cat shelter for several months. At first it was because they were treating his asthma, but after that, it was because they couldn't find someone to adopt him - he was very feral, scared, and any stress (including other cats, children, watching the other Clan cats leaving the shelter, etc.) aggravated his medical issues. He was in and out of foster homes / possible forever homes, but was eventually always returned. He was relocated to a shelter in another city in late March 2023, and he has been placed with a retired veteran, who is very kind and patient with him.
At the moment, I'm not sure if I'll be bringing Troutpaw back; he's a very difficult character to RP. I would like to, but if he returns, his personality will have undergone a huge change.SAFFRONSTREAKex-shadowclan warrior • 37 • captured, archived permanentlySaffronstreak was captured in November 2022, right at the end of Fall Capture #1. To be honest, it was partly on purpose, though she'd never admit it to anyone. She's felt weird about her Clan life for a long time, and so when she encountered the trap, she didn't think too hard about avoiding it. As a healthy, friendly, pretty cat, she was immediately placed with a family who drove over two hours to pick her up from the shelter. She now lives very happily on their small valley farm at the base of the mountains, playing with their kids, sleeping in their orchard hammock, making friends with their dogs and goats, forming a relationship with the neighbor's tom, and keeping the mice down. She thinks nostalgically of ShadowClan, and of course she's wondered about returning - it would be quite easy - but with every passing day, she's happier to stay where she is and has fully embraced her new life.BLAZEFEATHERthunderclan • 53 •capturedran away, return unknownBlazefeather didn't realize he was going to run away until the day that he did it, one early morning in May 2023. He was supposed to be patrolling the Thunderpath, looking out for signs of humans/the missing cats, but when he reached the edge of the territory, instead of going back and reporting the trap he found, he just... continued down the road. He ended up in the city and has been living just outside it ever since, torn every day over going back vs. staying away. Eventually, enough time will pass that he feels too guilty and ashamed to return (and lie about the reason he was gone), but it'll be too difficult emotionally to stay in the city, so he'll move on - away from the mountains, towards the unknown territories to the East.
Everyone in ThunderClan thinks he was captured. I would like to bring him back at some point, but probably in another Clan (he might mature but I don't think he'll ever be able to live comfortably in TC).RISKFLIGHTthunderclan • 67 • archived temporarily, still in thunderclanAs discussed with + JAMIE, Riskflight is still around in ThunderClan, but she's being sent on a lot of solo-missions by Saltstar to try and find/free the missing cats. Because of that, she hasn't had such a substantial presence in the Clan recently, since she's usually traveling. I plan to bring her back fully later this year, with a focus on wrapping up her threads/plotlines before starting anything new. To that end...thread continuation / closure ;I'll be following up on these once I know when I'm bringing her back!PRINCETONrogue • 57 • archived, unlikely to returnIt feels like Princeton has reached the end of her story with me, at least for now. She's still living in the Sanctuary and helping her dad run the place - and will likely take over from him - so although she never acheived her dream of traveling, she's been able to meet cats from all walks of life and reach a comfortable place with who she is and the life she's living. I may bring her back someday, but otherwise I'll wrap up her story in the Old Oak. She's decently known in the city by this point, and if you have any cats who pass through the Sanctuary, they've likely encountered her!thread continuation / closure ;[:ripples:] Would you like to do any closure for Family Ties (Queezle/Prin) or Rebel Just for Kicks (Arizona/Prin)? jackelyn, I'd love to do a closure post for We Found Wonderland (Wintersky/Prin), since it was one of my longest-running threads and they had a very sweet relationship! Princeton is very sad when she hears that Wintersky died.
